Crosswinds Seniors Resort currently employs 21 staff members. Our manager is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and we also have a call-in Registered Nurse available at all times. Also in our employ is an office administrator, an activity director, two professionally trained cooks, two cooks assistants, nine full time personal care attendants (PCA) and five call-in personal care attendants. 

Crosswinds Seniors Resort has a resident capacity of 57. We have 51 luxurious rooms with wheel chair accessibility and three larger couples rooms, spanning over four wings. The building has been furnished with the finest of furniture and has everything one could ask for when looking for luxurious living quarters. Our dining room is a European style dining room that has a stunning cathedral ceiling soaring 30 ft high.  Home cooked meals are prepared daily along with fresh baked goods including breads and wholesome desserts. We follow strict nutrition guidelines assuring your loved ones are getting the proper nutrients to keep healthy and strong.

Crosswinds is located 4.5 km off the Trans Canada Highway on route 404 Robinsons. Nestled quietly on 40 acres of robust land. We have all you need in scenic views, wild life, riding and walking trails just minutes away. Robinsons is a village located in Bay St. George area of the Canadian Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Robinsons Head one of the highest eskers in Atlantic Canada which can be seen in all it's vastness from the North side of our building. Robinsons Head has been on the map since 1798. The headland and community were named after John Robinson from Ireland who lived in a cave on Robinsons Head. Robinsons station about 2 miles from the original village came into being after the railway was constructed in the late 1890s and people, mainly those working at railway maintenance, settled in the area where the local road intersected the railway. The name Robinsons Station simple became Robinsons on October 1st, 1960. Robinsons had a population of 299 in 1956. Robinsons has since grown in to a wonderful retirement village with community events aimed at pleasing the senior population.
